How can one NOT check out the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? While there is a lot of junk in it, there are some true winners. I wanted to round up what I think are the best picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale from my perspective. Some I bought, some I saw and thought were worth pointing out to you if this is something you may need.
I originally wrote this post in 2020 but it makes no sense to keep out of stock items on Wardrobe Oxygen, so I updated it for 2024. I highly recommend you use my tips to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but in case you need inspiration to see if the sale is worth it for you, see my picks below.

If I needed a raincoat, I would order this packable one from Cole Haan. Usually $300, it's on sale for $149.99. It comes in 5 colors and sizes XS (0-2) -XL (16-18). I appreciate the drawcord waist and hood, the longer length, the machine washability, and the fact that it packs into a matching drawstring pouch.
This rain jacket from Lole also caught my eye because it is 100% polyester and advertised as waterPROOF not water resistant. I have no experience with this brand, but it too has a drawcord hood and waist, packs down small for travel, and can be washed in the machine. Three colors, sizes XS-XL and it supposedly runs large. On sale for $115.99.
I am getting a pair of these RVCA athletic shorts for my husband. They have an elastic and drawstring waist, a 7.5″ inseam that is good for his long legs, front welt pockets, and a back zip pocket. They're moisture-wicking and the type he likes for running, working out, and hanging out in the summer. He also likes the brand. They're on sale for $39.99.
I find Kut from the Kloth to be a nice quality, well-fitting brand of denim. The weight and washes are cool, and there is no weird logos or trim to make them stand out or look dated in a year. If you're looking for a denim jacket, this one (link to misses and link to plus) looks like a great choice with 2% spandex to offer that bit of give and comfort. No plus tax, both the and the versions are on sale for $72.99.
