My Memory Planner - Right Now...

By Midwesterngirl @MidwesternGirl5
I recently returned from my week-long annual trip to the CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) Mega Show in Anaheim, CA.
I look forward to this trip every single year...it's my chance each year to spend time with my besties (the rest of the girls on my HS Media Team)... to work hard, rest & relax, be inspired and rejuvenate...all-in-all, it's the perfect way to start each New Year.
I spent a little time the other night adding some photos and stories from my week into my Memory Planner...wanna see?

I've learned that, when I'm documenting a trip or other big event, I do better if I keep things super simple. I try to just get 'er done instead of focusing on embellishments...I try to just tell the story. Then I'll often create traditional scrapbook layouts for special photos or stories...

I love keeping items of different shapes and sizes in my planner...that random, chunky, unexpected look makes me so happy...

Seriously...these little pockets are my very favorite planner accessories right now...

And this Heidi Swapp Memory Planner Storage Binder is exactly what I need to keep all of my stuff from previous months...in fact, I think I'm going to need a few more - this one is currently housing only 3 months worth of stuff...yikes.
Thanks so much for taking a peek!
