A lady identified as Faith Mwende from Machakos Painfully narrated how her grandfather made her his wife at only 12 years old. He claimed that he couldn’t raise her for other men to enjoy her.
She was born as the firstborn in a family of two kids by her single mother. Her mother left them under the care of their grandparents and got married in Nairobi.
When she was 7 years old, her grandmother passed away. They were left under the care of their grandfather. At 8 her grandfather would call her in his bedroom, lower his Pants and force her to touch his Private Parts.
She would warn her not to tell anybody about what happened. Life continued to be hard since he could force her to do many inappropriate things to him just to be given food and pay their school fees.
One day, when she was 12, her grandfather waited for her to return home from school and locked her inside his house. He undressed her and forced her to lie on his bed.
She started crying begging him not to do it but he could tell her to shut up since he couldn’t raise her and allow other men to sleep with her before him. By good luck a neighbor who was passing by heard the noise and went to check what was happening.
