My Glossier Faves

By Winyeemichelle
Let’s face it, the brand on almost everybody’s lips (figuratively and literally) is Glossier. The brainchild of Into The Gloss editor and former The Hills alumni, Emily Weiss, Glossier is launching in the UK on Monday 9th October(!!) and has become nothing short of a beauty phenomenon. It’s aimed at real women but not in an annoying way and some of their products have genuinely made it into my everyday rotation. Cruelty-free and ridiculously marketable with everything in shades of millennial pink and pearl white, just ahead of its UK launch, I thought I’d divulge my favourites and what I’m most looking forward to picking up.

Milky Jelly Cleanser

My hero product from the Glossier range is by far their Milky Jelly Cleanser. It’s fresh and light and does an excellent job of removing impurities from my complexion. It’s made with rosewater and leaves your skin feeling clean and smelling incredible.

Haloscope

I’m the proud owner of Haloscope in Quartz and Moonstone and must admit that I rotate between these two pretty much daily. Quartz offers a warm, luminous glow whilst Moonstone is a cooler option, and both leave your skin looking dewy and with a lit-from-within look. I swipe it across my cheekbones after applying a BB cushion and pat in with my fingers. Highly, highly recommend Quartz.

Priming Moisturiser

My final tried-and-tested fave from the range is Glossier’s Priming Moisturiser. Lightweight and designed to perfectly prime your skin before your day gets going, this moisturiser feels impossibly satisfying to apply. It’s like a cloud. A pea-sized amount goes a long way and it leaves my skin feeling perfectly saturated and ready for further products. I use it in the morning before face base.

I’m Looking Forward To

  • Cloud Paint
  • Generation G
  • Birthday Balm Dotcom
  • Wowder
  • Moisturing Moon Mask
  • Super Glow Serum
