Having Ellie for the past 7 years, she's had her fair share of adventures. She's been through 4 moves with me from college to my hometown and now Georgia, 2 life changing events including adding Lily to our family and most recently our new 5 week old kitten, Belle plus her own ( and my nightmare ) overnight adventure outside for the very first time. Ellie's extremely sweet but also extremely territorial about her surrounding. She likes to cuddle when she's tired and has always loves to be in the sunlight napping. One of my favorite things about my furry fur ball is her constant love and devotion. When Purina Pro Plan shared with me that June 15th was "Take Your Cat On An Adventure Day" I thought what a great idea but knew that with Ellie being an indoor cat and already having her thrill seeking adventure of being outdoors that one night would probably not be keen to going on adventure. She is after all, the true definition of what a scared y cat is. She'd rather be up high on top of counters to look at everyone and runs from dogs. Her idea of an adventure is being as close to home ( and indoors ) as possible. So I thought to myself, what would be a fun adventure for her to enjoy but I knew she wouldn't be so freaked out. With our new porch outside and bright sunlight streaking in, I woke up early to enjoy a cup of coffee and share some delicious Purina Pro Plan shredded kibble for a morning breakfast on the porch. In true fashion, Ellie usually eats her breakfast in the kitchen but I thought this would be a nice treat for her and I to enjoy just the two of us.
I figured out this was the best plan for her because I answered their Pro Plan test questionnaire online and found out her ideal food was the Savor Chicken and Rice Shredded blend. The crunchy kibble and shredded pieces were ideal for Ellie sine she can be a picky eater at times but as you can see from the pictures, I thought she was going to devour the entire bag within seconds because of how tasty it is! My other concern was Ellie being a bit older for her age but with this food being 40% protein to help her nutritional needs, it was the perfect protein level for her.
Although it wasn't one of her wildest adventures, Ellie loved our time together and eating the delicious chicken and rice formula blend I had brought home. With it's tender and crunchy bites, she was meowing for more after finishing only a few pieces! Of course her sister wanted in on the action too but since she's too little at the moment for this shredded blend, I'm happy to know she'll probably love it as much as her sister does.
