My Autumn/Winter Boots Edit

Daisybutter - Hong Kong Lifestyle and Fashion Blog: ASOS boots

9 boots you'll need this autumn/winter. The other day, I left work and realised that it was autumn.
Granted it is still about 31° on average outside, but the evening darkness is taking grip earlier than ever and there’s a delectable crispness when the humidity finally winds down. I love it. With that in mind, I set to boxing up my summer shoe set and pulling out my favorite boots this weekend and realised there is always room for new boots, right?
Here goes.

Ash Women's Jalouse Bootie • Ash • $150–198 - I think the ASH Jalouse boots are one of the blogosphere's most coveted shoes, right behind the Isabel Marant Dicker boots and any form of lace-up shoe. And for good reason! They're a perfect height, are oh so comfortable and work well with little dresses or jeans alike. My ones lasted me a good 3 winters before I had to accept that they couldn't be resoled anymore.
ASOS COLLECTION ASOS AIRBOUND Leather Chelsea Ankle Boots • Asos • $72 - A pair of tan boots are a failsafe way to bump up the autumn/winter collective in my humble opinion. They have a much more laidback kinda feel to them compared to their black counterparts. You pretty much can't go wrong with a good ol' tan Chelsea boot.
Stuart Weitzman Reserve Stretch Suede Boots • Stuart Weitzman • $655 - I've been toying with the idea of getting some over-the-knee Stuart Weitzman boots for the longest time now. They've been coming in thick and fast at work but I'm wary of them accidentally looking inappropriate! Yay or nay? Help me, ladies.
Magpie ghillie ankle boots • Topshop • $160 - Onto something a little more fun, these lace-up suede boots from Topshop really remind me of my friend Gem's style as well as the super-babe Amy! I think I'll try these on after work to test out that heel height before committing to a sneaky payday purchase ;)
ASOS COLLECTION ASOS RAVE TIME 60s Chelsea Ankle Boots • Asos • $58 - A fun printed pair of boots is really nice to have in the stash to team with plain jumpers and jeans - you know the outfits I mean. Just add a little coloured satchel and some lace trim socks, et voila! So. Damn. Chic.
Alexander Wang Black Notched Heel Kori Ankle Boots • Alexander Wang • $520 - The Alexander Wang 'Kori' boots have a soft spot in my heart because I treated myself to these for my 24th birthday. I'd been in love with this style for months and finally managed to snap a pair up with my staff discount. Win! They're oh so comfortable and add a lil somethin' somethin' to otherwise-ordinary outfits. I actually wore these a lot through the summer with playsuits and little denim shorts!
Miles ankle boots • Topshop • $130 - Another 'please help me, oh blogosphere' inclusion: can I pull off leopard print boots please? Because on the whole I think that leopard print is a bit garish but these are the perfect cut. And like the ASOS boots, they'll add a real somethin' special to plain outfits that we all crack out when it's Thursday and we want it to be the weekend.
ASOS COLLECTION ASOS EXPRESSION 70s Suede Platform Ankle Boots • $108 - These darling ASOS boots are another 'I need you right now' option. I *think* I can pull off this height because of the front platform. Ah what the heck, just look at that coloured suede and wood combination. All the dreaminess. All the heart-eyed emojis. Someone enable me.
Alexander Wang Gabi Cutout Leather Ankle Boots • Alexander Wang • $650 - Last but not least, I kinda had to include the heeled big sister of my Lori boots, eh? These ones would certainly add a sassy elevation to any AW15 arsenal. Dat signature cut-out tho.
