Music Speculation for True Blood Season 6, Episode 1 ’Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’

episodemusicsquareSince we now know the title for the Season 6, Episode 1 is ’Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’ As is our practice, we like to speculate about what song will be chosen by True Blood’s Creator and Executive Producer, Allan Ball and his Music Supervisor, Gary Calamar.

Gary has been getting artists to create new versions of songs recently, so it’s highly likely he may do so with this song. If he doesn’t do that, it has to be either the original done by the Animals back in the 1960′s or the newer version which was featured on the soundtrack of the 2003 film, “Kill Bill Vol.1.”

First, is the original version by the Animals

However, I’m tempted to think that this version from the “Kill Bill” soundtrack might be it. It would be rather ironic since when we last saw Bill Compton, he had sort of “been killed” by turning into something different, namely Billith.

And here’s the Nina Simone version, which I’ve been told is really the originalThanks. Rina!
