That’s right three incredible leading ladies and my personal favorite Cassidy Janson, along with Amber Riley and Beverly Knight have teamed up to become a supergroup. In terms of musical theater this is such a huge deal and the album is going to be amazing!
I have already pre-ordered it on iTunes which is always a great idea because you don’t have to remember about the release date as it automatically downloads. Each of the women has been involved in Theatre and more recently in the West End, so perfect that they have decided to link together to bring a real treat of an album out.
Cassidy Janson has recently finished as Carole King in Beautiful, I am sure you know just how much I fell in love with that show. Janson has a truly amazing vocal range and I cannot wait to hear this album and how she has mixed with Riley and Knight.
Amber Riley must known for fame in TV show Glee has had a very incredible run as Effie White in Dreamgirls another show that I was lucky enough to catch earlier this year in London, again she has a truly amazing voice.
Beverly Knight has had some very successful runs in The Bodyguard and I am disappointed to say that I have not seen her on the Theatre stage. I did see her as a support act for Bryan Adams many years ago at St James Park in Newcastle though, so I have seen all three of this very talented women perform.
Rumours have been circulating since this announcement last week that they might just be doing a tour following on from the album as well. I certainly hope that is the case, well as long as they come to the North East of England we often get missed out up here. So fingers crossed that the album is a huge success and that a tour does follow it! I am really looking forward to listening and I am sure many others will too, I mean just look at the tracks they have put together for the album!
