Plot: When a neighbor on their floor is murdered, married couple Nick and Lana host cocktail parties in their apartment in an attempt to discover which of their neighbors pulled the trigger.

Story: Murder & Cocktails starts when struggling screenwriter Nick (Bernardo) and struggling actress Lana (Neufeld) find their quiet life thrown open. One of their neighbours is murdered and the pair decide to use their skills to interview the residents of their apartment.
As they investigate, they also stream their nights together with each suspect. However, the more they meet the neighbours, the less they learn the truth about them. But each interaction offers up a series of stories they never imagined hearing.
Verdict on Murder & Cocktails
Murder & Cocktails is a crime comedy following a couple struggling to find work who decide to try and solve a murder in their building. It sees them inviting the residents from their building for dinner parties, hoping to learn more. However, the colourful cast of characters only leaves them in an even more difficult situation.
This is a fun mystery comedy which gets funny moments from each of the characters we meet. It shows how the boredom of life brings a new interest to the couple as they find a new motivation to succeed. This shows how people could find unusual motivations in life. However, it relies on the couple getting people high to solve the case.
