“Mumbo Jumbo”: England PM Explosion at an Anti-vaccine Campaigner

LONDON: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Thursday noted the anti-vaccine campaign “Mumbo Jumbo” and “bullshit” in his toughest attack on those who opposed Jabs Covid-19.

“I want to tell the anti-vax campaigners, people who put this Mumbo Jumbo on social media: they are truly wrong,” Johnson told reporters.

“You haven’t heard me say that before, because I think it’s important we have a voluntary approach in this country and we will maintain a voluntary approach,” he said, during a visit to the vaccination center.

Britain, already among the worst European countries hit by a pandemic, with the number of viral deaths of almost 150,000, has seen a fresh surge in cases due to the arrival of the Omicron variant at the end of November.

Johnson noted that other European countries would be “coercion”, after Italy on Wednesday made Covid-19 vaccination for all those over 50 years old, with a fine of refusing.

“What tragedy we have all the pressure on the NHS (national health service), all the difficulties experienced by our doctors and nurses and we have people out there spitting complete nonsense about vaccination,” he added.

“Really wrong, it’s really counterproductive, and the items they put on social media are complete Mumbo Jumbo.”

Johnson said on Tuesday it was “really crazy” that the intensive care unit in the UK was filled with NHS resources that were not vaccinated and pushed up to its limits.

He recorded the country has two million empty vaccination slots this week and that the majority of people who get intensive hospital care for Covid do not completely stab.

England’s head medical head Chris Whitty added at that time “sad” by the number of patients who were not vaccinated in hospitals and “frustrated” on the intentional scare tactics of anti-vaxxers.
