After an unexpected year away from the limelight just when things looked to be taking off, Mt. Wolf have made an equally unlikely return with the simply beautiful ‘Red’, which you can stream below.
With the self-referential and rather wry lyric ‘I’m going away for a long time’ engulfing the song, the gorgeous combination of folk and electronica will tug at your heartstrings and help you float off into a happy daze. The vocals echo Thom Yorke while there are also elements of M83, The Antlers and Active Child in the instrumentation. It’s a stunning song and a rather welcome return!
