Story: Mrs Harris Goes Paris starts when a hard-working widowed cleaner Ada Harris (Manville) sees her first Christian Dior dress. This sets her on a mission to save up enough money to go to Paris to buy one. Along with her best friend Violet (Thomas), she believes her dreams are being shattered. However, a series of events lead to her getting enough money to go on her trip.
As Ada explores Paris, she finds new friends that help her dream become a reality. Along the way, she gets to touch people’s lives. Giving them hope in their own dreams that have seen them challenged.

Along the way, she touches the lives of many people for the better, before realizing she has wasted so many years of her life.
This is one of the most truly delightful movies of recent years. It feels like a complete treat and a message on learning to be nice to everyone in life. Lesley Manville gives us one of the best performances of the year in a movie that leaves you in pure happiness. The idea of being able to learn from a trip of a lifetime chasing dreams within a sensible reason. Sit back and enjoy a real treat.
