This is downright awesome: Producer/Emcee Mr. Porter has put out the Porter Chops Porter mixtape, an instrumental hip-hop album inspired by the music (album & internet tracks and even some live YouTube audio) of GOF favorite Robert Glasper. Without having to worry about commercial clearances, Porter has the freedom to follow his creative drive and make an album that may be derived from Glasper’s music, but stands on it’s own as a musical piece of art.
