Mozilla Firefox OS Phones Finally Launched

Right after announcing that it will soon launch the first smartphones running Firefox OS, Mozilla has just had Deutsche Telekom and Telefonica as the first carriers to sell the Firefox OS gadgets in Spain. The phones? An Alcatel One Touch Fire and ZTE Open, with the ZTE Open boasting a 3.5-inch touch screen, 256MB of RAM, a 3.2-megpixel camera and an included 4GB micro SD card. As the mission-based organization that provides the power of the Web in people’s hands, Mozilla has gotten in touch with Alcatel, LG, and ZTE to produce commercial phones to be launched in Brazil, Colombia, Hungary, Mexico, Poland, Serbia, Spain, and Venezuela.
