Motorola Edge 30 Pro in for Review

Posted on the 26 February 2022 by Geetikamalik

Motorola launched the edge of the X30 last December in China as the first-powered Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 smartphone in the world, which debuted globally a few days ago as Motorola Edge 30 Pro with a slight difference and two blue choices. And we have received one in blue for the full review.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro retail package is not all different from what we saw with its predecessor – Edge 20 Pro. Quick box, blue-ish with the smartphone name above. Inside, we have your own phone along with several documents, Ejector SIM tools, transparent cases, charging cables, and 68W adapters.

Now let’s check what Motorola Edge 30 Pro offers. Smartphone Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-Powered has two RAM (8GB / 12GB) and three storage options (128GB / 256GB / 512GB). Our unit is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

Edge 30 Pro Boots Android Myui 3.0 based on Android, which is something from a clean and free chaos you will find interesting. This smartphone is equipped with ordinary Motorola software items and a three-year security renewal appointment. Motorola has also guaranteed Android 13 and 14 for superior.

Edge 30 Pro is built around the OLED 6.7 “FullHD + 144Hz screen with HDR10 + certification. It has a punch hole in the middle for a 60MP selfie camera and is equipped with protection Gorilla Glass 3 – downgrade from Gorilla Glass 5 that we have The Edge 20 Pro. In addition, Motorola also moved from a metal frame on the edge of the 20 Pro to the plastic frame on the edge of 30 pro.

This frame can be insulted and scratched easily, and on the right side is the volume of rockers and power buttons, with the last one doubling as a fingerprint reader. These buttons have decent feedback, but placed rather high for our favorite. Especially volume control.

Moving to the back of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, we have a panel protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and sports a triple camera system consisting of 50MP primer (with OIS), 50MP Ultrawide, and a 2MP depth sensor unit. Motorola discarded the 8MP telefoto periscop unit on the edge of 20 pro.

The edge of the panel is quite curved to give a comfortable grip. However, in our short time by telephone, the cover took fingerprints quite quickly. A plate of island cameras, made of plastic, also shiny and insulted.
