Motorola has launched Moto G4 and G4 Plus at an event yesterday in India. There have been a lot of leaks and rumours going around the device launch and almost everything except the price had been revealed. Motoi G4 Plus is priced at 13,499 INR in a 2GB RAM + 16GB storage configuration, while the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of the phone costs 14,999 INR. While the pricing of Moto G4 hasn’t been revealed yet, Moto G4 Plus will be sold on Amazon exclusively. The new Moto G will be available for purchase in June this year.
The camera app provides you with neat features, including automatic HDR and Best Shot. The latter shoots a burst of multiple images so that the best image among them can be picked. Advanced camera users may take advantage of the built-in manual controls.
The highlight of the Moto series is near-stock Android experience, so it is devoid of any laggy custom skin on top like most of the other device manufacturers have. Both Moto G4 and G4 Plus run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with very few minor tweaks.
Both Moto G4 and G4 Plus supports Turbo Charging that gives six hours of usage with just 15 mins of charging. While we like the new Moto G, it does have a tough competition at this price range. It looks like a good, affordable, Android handset that will probably suit plenty of users who want a capable everyday smartphone free from bloat.
