Built in GPS: Moto 360 Sport has built in GPS that works with the Moto Body app and helps in measuring workout performance by tracking distance traveled, lap times etc.
Fitness Apps: Several popular fitness apps like MapMyRun®, Under Armour Record™, Strava, Google Fit and Fitbit™ etc can be used on Moto 360 Sport. Its Moto Body can record the workout data and sync with these popular apps to give better records of exercise and performance.
Heart Rate Monitor: The heart rate monitor of Moto 360 Sport can continuously track the heart rate during an exercise session. And the Moto Body app can record the heart rate and give report of the time spent in different heart rate zones during a workout.
AnyLight: Motorola claims that Moto 360 Sport is equipped with world's first hybrid display. It can work as a backlit LCD screen when in dim lighting conditions. In sunlight, it reflects natural sunlight to make it easy to see the dial.
Bigger Display: Moto 360 Sport has a thin bezel and an end-to-end glass design that provides bigger display for better viewing of content.
Connectivity: The smartwatch has the ability to allow user to check gmail, check and respond to messages on WhatsApp, see calendar appointments, traffic and weather reports etc.
Music: Moto 360 Sport can sync with Google Play Music app to allow music and podcast streaming.
Dust & Water Resistant: Moto 360 Sport is IP67 dust and water resistant. It can withstand a dip in up to 3 feet of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. So drenching in light shower would do it not harm. But remember that it is water-resistant, not water proof. No swimming or diving with it.
