Young Moroccan hope Chadi Riad, who plays for the Spanish club Mallorca, has just signed for FC Barcelona, the Catalan club said on Thursday 25 July.
Chadi Riad will therefore join the Blaugranas Junior B category team. The 16-year-old Moroccan international and Barcelona FC had reached an agreement last February to transfer him this summer.
The defender has distinguished himself in recent months with RCD Majorca, thanks in particular to his good ball handling and his strong presence during off-kilter actions.
Chadi won the North African Football Union (UNAF) tournament with the Moroccan U15s, which took place from 1 to 7 November 2018 at the El Karam stadium in Tunis.
