More Say The U.S. Will Be Less Respected In World In 2017
Posted on the 10 January 2017 by JobsangerThis chart was made from information in a recent Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between December 24th and 27th of a random national sample of 1,662 adults (including 1,419 registered voters) and has a margin of error of 2.9 points.
It shows that, by an 8 point margin, the American public believes the policies of Donald Trump will make the United States less respected in the world. Only one group has significantly more believing the U.S. will be more respected -- those 65 and over. Men and Whites are split over whether it will be more or less respected -- and all other groups say it will be less respected.
Trump simply doesn't inspire confidence in the American people.
