More Pastel Colors in New Abstract Painting

By Abstractartbylt @artbylt

In my latest abstract painting on a tall canvas, I was looking for a change from the bright reds and oranges I used in previous paintings. I began to paint in the center column of this canvas, using platinum, unbleached titanium, and white.  As I worked my way out toward the edges, I used a pale peach and then browns at the left and right edges.  After that, working wet on wet, I added spots of other colors: cadmium yellow light, indian yellow, cobalt green, pale blue violet, and cadmium red medium.
