More Overall Color in New Abstract Painting

By Abstractartbylt @artbylt

This new abstract painting on paper quickly got away from me in the sense that it had too much color spread over a random pattern.  I kept blending titanium white, parchment, and unbleached titanium into the brighter colors to soften them.  I used small brush strokes with thick paint, barely taming the chaos.  Yet there is something organic about the result that appeals to me.

  Paper #16, 46" x 34" acrylic on paper.
