Two companies are being accused of polluting ground water that flows into the wells  of The Acreage community, which according to reports, are seeing "cancer clusters.' That lawsuits allege those clusters have been caused by that polluted water.
The two companies are Pratt & Whitney and Palm Beach Aggregates. The lawyer that has filed the lawsuits, Jack Scarola, claims that new studies show drinking water in the rural western Palm Beach County community is rife with carcinogens.
In 2009, the health department confirmed a pediatric cancer cluster in The Acreage.
