Kevin Rose, who created Moonbirds and lost more than $1 million worth of NFTs in a hack two weeks ago, has tweeted a poll.
He then asked others in the pool if they should move to Bitcoin, TEZ, or the Solana platform, or whether they should continue to use Ethereum only. He then expressed a theory.
Each link would have a different backdrop to help figure out where it is. This could be a sign that Moonbirds is considering moving to a different blockchain network.
Random idea: Moonbirds. You are CC0, so, we could, in theory, duplicate your Moonbirds on Bitcoin, TEZ, Solana, etc., giving you redemption rights on each chain (you could hold or sell). Each chain would have a different background to visually identify where it resides. Thoughts?

As of this writing, more over fifty percent of voters have selected the option to “keep it on ETH.”
Moonbirds is a collection of 10,000 Ethereum NFTs. Each one has a pixelated owl character with random traits and features. Even though there are parts of images that are the same, no two NFTs are exactly the same.
In this way, it’s similar to the Bored Apes and a lot of other profile picture projects that are popular right now. Like the Bored Apes, Moonbirds owners have intellectual property rights and can use their own image to make products, services, merchandise, and more. They can also join the PROOF Collective.
