In MH World save files are stored by default on Steam Cloud. So the way to find them is somewhat different, although not complicated, as you will see below

The location of the MHW save files is the same for Windows and Mac, since it depends on the Steam Cloud. If you do not know where the Steam Library Location is, we will tell you how to find it and the steps you must follow below on Windows and Mac
Save File Location: Steam library location > userdata > a folder named after your Steam3ID > 582010 > remote
Steam Library Folders Location
The question is to find the steam library location, it is usually in
- Windows > C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam
- Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam
But we will not always find it there, these are the stems to find it.
- Open Steam
- Click on Steam (Upper left)
- Click on Settings (The fifth option in the drop-down menu)
- Now Click the Downloads (Left Menu)
- And finally Click on Steam Library folders (in the central menu)
- After the previous step, a window will appear with all the Steam Library Folders

Steps to find the MHW save files on Windows:
- Open File Explorer (right click on your start menu and click on File Explore)
- Go to your Steam library folder (explained above)
- Now go to the userdata folder
- Go to the folder named after your Steam3ID
- Go to the 582010 Folder, then open the Remote folder
- Inside the remote folder you should see the save file, something like SAVEDATA1000

Steps to find the MHW save files on Mac:
- Open Finder
- Go to your Steam library folder (explained above)
- Now go to the userdata folder
- Go to the folder named after your Steam3ID
- Go to the 582010 Folder, then open the Remote folder
