Verdict on Monkey Man
Monkey Man is an action thriller following a lone man climbing the criminal underworld in an attempt to get revenge on the ruthless leader. He has been preparing his revenge for years and now his plan is starting to unfold.
This movie does feel a lot like a modern-day action movie, with the big fight sequences feeling relentless and brutal. It does something we don’t see as often, by seeing a forgettable person from the villain’s past being the one after them. The movie uses the environment extremely well for different moments of chaos. Dev Patel gives us one of the best action movies of the year and one you won’t forget.
Final Thoughts – Monkey Man is a brutal and relentless action movie.
