Monday Night Wars : Beyoncé Edition

By Senoritacyn
Monday Night Wars : Beyoncé EditionOne of my fondest childhood memories was watching wrestling with my brother every Monday night. I know that it was weird as a little girl to be a fan of WWE but I didn’t care because it was fun, loved all the different wrestlers and it was always cool to see someone go through a table! I was very lucky to watch it during the best era ever (Attitude Era that is) and see so many future Hall of Famers perform. I can’t help but to think how influential these wrestlers are to the fashion world.  Clearly Queen B, herself has gotten inspiration from some of the greats. So lets take a trip down memory lane...Monday Night Wars : Beyoncé Edition
Monday Night Wars : Beyoncé EditionBeyoncé has clearly taken some pointers from greats like Ric Flair and The Undertaker. Drawing inspiration from their famous robes and hats, her tour outfits has both wrestlers written all over them. Monday Night Wars : Beyoncé EditionMonday Night Wars : Beyoncé EditionThere is no denying that her many of her looks from the Divavideo have two of Canada’s finest, Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart and Chris Jericho to thank. She has definitely made ‘The List’ more than once. Monday Night Wars : Beyoncé EditionBy far my favorite wrestler has to be The Rock and this was way before he became the blockbuster movie star from today. Besides having some of the best mic skills, you can never forget him wearing those Versace shirts. Years later, Yonce can reference The Rock for outfit inspiration. As I've gotten older, I have gone to numerous WWE live events and will continue to go. Say what you will, but wrestling is definitely my guilty pleasure.
Woohoo!
