Monday at the Office

Mondays aren’t that bad, really.
I spent the entire day cleaning out my wardrobe, moving all the stuff to my office and organizing it there for a wardrobe sale I’m planning on Saturday!
If you’re around (Arnhem), come by to see my new office, shop more than half of my wardrobe for small prices and have a glass of bubbles!
You’ll find more info and the event on Facebook here. Please make sure to ‘attend’ on FB if you’re coming :)

Speaking of office, it’s been a few weeks since I’ve moved in and even though I thought working from home was the best thing in the world, the office life is treating me really good as well. I’m much more productive, can go home after a day of work and let everything go, and I have an extra space to decorate, of course. My office still isn’t ready yet (profit from the closet sale on Saturday are going directly towards office decoration) but I have a little corner that is already my favorite..

It holds one of my favorite books. ‘One own personal’, a book about style from Weekday and Encens who share the opinion that true style is not a reflection of current trends, but the meeting point between passion and personality, on which I highly agree. The book is filled with gorgeous pictures and interviews from people whose stories are both inspirational and interesting, like Dries van Noten, Ann-Sofie Back, Michelle Harper and Kris van Assche. One to own if you’re looking for a great coffee table book (or Christmas present!).

The golden pineapple is the eye-catcher of my office, the piece that spices up everything, the cool kid amongst my decoration. I’ve seen it coming by while looking for inspiration on Pinterest and decided I really needed to have it, because it spices up the entire place. I found it at Home is, an Amsterdam-based concept store selling design, furniture and accessories but also fashion from brands like Carin Wester, Baum und Pferdgarten, Stine Goya and more. Even though my office is utterly minimalist so far (read: quite empty) – the gold pineapple brings it to life. Actually didn’t expect one piece to have so much effect.

The boxes from Hay are as functional as good looking, a necessity really.
So, who’s coming on Saturday?
