Colombo Chief Magistrate Prasanna Alwis yesterday (04) ordered the Government Analyst to check 20 mobile phones and laptops used by Janashakti Group Director late Dinesh Schaffter, his business friend Brian Thomas and Shafter’s close relatives and submit a report.
In relation to the case, the Criminal Investigation Department filed a motion yesterday (04) and stated that it will file the autopsy evidence and the technical reports before the Court.
Police said that the technical reports have been summoned and those reports together with the Government Analyst’s report would be matched. The CID requested the Court to refer the relevant productions to the Government Analyst.
After considering the request, the Magistrate issued orders to refer the productions to the Government Analyst.
