After disembarking at EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg airport, I got this view of our CRJ-900 illuminated on the foggy tarmac. The CRJ900 is a stretched 76–90 seat version of the CRJ700 with a wider wing, leading edge slats, and redesigned tail. The most numerous of the CRJ family, 487 of these regional jets were produced before production was ended by Mitsubishi after acquiring the program from Bombardier in 2020. Lufthansa CityLine operates 28 of these aircraft in their fleet.
