A  mildly spiced yogurt dip of banana, mint and ginger.

Summers calls for cool and refreshing yogurt raita and dips. Raitas are Indian style mildly spiced yogurt based dips. Different types of fruits and vegetables are added in raita to make it healthy ,filling and refreshing. Raitas can be served as a side dish with meals or can have a bowl of thick raita when ever your hanger pangs hit you.

There are so many raita or dips made with yogurt. I love to make different types of raitas and dips to serve with daily meals. My family favorite is Spinach Raitabottle gourd Raita and Pumpkin Raita.

Bananas are packed with so many nutrients, very good for bones ,relieves anemia, aids digestion, lower blood pressure and most important it combat depression so it is very good to add in your daily diet.I have seen many people make sweet raita with banana but I loved this minty banana raita with the flavor of mint and ginger, goes well with all types of rice and Indian breads.
