"Oh. No wonder I'd been sick. I hadn't eaten anything since then. I'm a girl who likes her meals, so it hadn't been a weight-loss tactic. I'd just been too busy bumping from crisis to crisis. Go on the Sookie Stackhouse Narrow Avoidance of Death Diet! Run for your life, and miss meals, too! Exercise plus starvation."

My Rating:
Mini-Review: Dead ReckoningQuick-Thoughts: Courageous Sookie meets secretive lover/friends/family in kookie Bon Temp.
I was horribly disappointed with this book.    I'm usually not bothered by "more of the same" when it comes to some series.  It tends to happen.  I understand.  But this was too much.  I felt like it lacked a central plot.  Various events occurred but nothing pushed me to continue to turn the page.  I read because that's what I do but there was nothing driving my interest.  I'm almost becoming numb to her romantic relationships.  Hot Sex...check.  Dealing with vamps have to create some real trust issues.  The ending certainly made me excited for the next book BUT I am curious about how this series will be wrapped up considering there are so many issues still out there.  I have a feeling that things will be rushed and I'm going to be left a tad pissed.  I guess I need to have a little faith.
Any thoughts about this?  I've heard that there are two books left.  Do you think that this series can be wrapped up in a satisfying manner?
