Hi Pixies! we've finally reached the end of January and it's still chucking it down with rain, that has to now be a record or something, I don't think it's ever rained this much and for so long before. I thought that to cheer everyone up from this downpour I'd do a mini haul for you all from the few bits and bobs that I've picked up over the month. I'd also like to quickly apologize that the picture quality isn't great in this post as my camera is having a tantrum and refusing to play nicely at the moment, meaning that I have to use my iPhone and the lighting wasn't amazing either as the natural light outside is constantly gloomy at the moment which didn't help either.
The first thing that I picked up was a new pair of tan brogues to replace my beloved old ones that met a grizzly end when Jasper took a shine to them and decided that they'd look much nicer with huge teeth marks in (somehow I didn't seem to agree with him!). They're from New Look and the label on them did have them at £14.99 but when they went through the till I was only charged £7 for them! An utter bargain if you ask me.
I managed to get lucky twice in one day as I also picked up this super cozy Jack Wills star print jumper in sale. I believe that it was originally £60, marked down a hell of a lot (not sure by what percentage) and then I got an extra ten percent off on that particular day, making the jumper ring it at the purse happy total of £17! I know, I couldn't quite believe it too!
The Harley Quinn comic is something that I get every month on the day it comes out as incase you didn't know I have a tiny obsession with her (and The Joker... And pretty much anything Batman related). This is the second issue (well third if you count the launch comic 'issue 0') and this is my favorite cover art of the series so far.
I found this perfume in the Charity shop that I work at last weekend. It's from one of Gwen Stefani's many Harajuku Lovers lines from a couple of years back and is in called 'Music'. I've had one of her summer perfumes from the same lines for ages and I love that one so much as it's just the right balance between sweet floral that I instantly bought this and so far I've worn it everyday and have gotten lots of compliments.
The last thing in my mini haul is We're The Millers. I never managed to see it while it was in cinemas but I'd had some many people telling me how amazing it was (including my brother) that I took a chance and got it. Well I turns out that I love it. I think it's one of the funniest things that I've seen in a long time and the acting is flawless through the film. If you're looking for something cheery and funny to watch on one of these never ending rainy days then I seriously recommend that you give this one a go.
