If you’ve been playing Minecraft on Xbox 360 and are planning to upgrade to an Xbox One, there’s probably something worrying you: saves. Normally saves dont work between systems, so if you have Skylanders Swap Force on Xbox 360 the game and your saves wont work with Xbox One. Minecraft will be different though; your saves will work on Xbox One!
The good news came from head of Xbox Phil Spencer, who explained that they had been working with Mojang to make sure Xbox 360 saves worked on Xbox One. It looks like you’ll still have to buy Minecraft Xbox One edition on your new console, but when you play the new version you’ll be able to continue playing from where you left off on your Xbox 360.
