Thoughts on Mine 9
Mine 9 brings us the claustrophobic atmosphere of the mining career, which only gets worse when the cave in happens. Leaving the miners in a race to survive, with the oxygen supply running low and the dangers of more cave ins waiting for them.
The tight, claustrophobic environment does show us the intense battle to survive this situation. Showing that even with the experience the group will have to face some realities they don’t want too. The performances do get to show the intensity of the reality of what the men were going through, in the whole film. Though as we don’t get to see the inside look into the personal lives for along enough amount of time. We can feel part of the film coming up short. We don’t to experience an intense sequence, which will have you turning away at times through the film.
report this adMine 9 is filled with the intensity of being trapped in a mine, only it doesn’t build up the characters strongly enough.
