It’s my general opinion that London Underground are lucky to have the staff they do. In the main friendly, helpful, always absolutely human. By this last I mean that their friendliness is NEVER of the plastic “My name is Charlie and I’ll be you waiter tonight how may I help you?!” variety. Some of ‘em are a bit hang dog. Some of ‘em are a bit tired. Aren’t we all? Keep up the great work – and the grumpy tannoy announcements too!
