Story: Mind Leech starts when a fishing trip between buddies takes a dark twist. Craig (Krysinski) and Josh (McGee) are ice fishing when Craig gets something caught on his line. After searching for his discovery, he finds himself with a giant leech attached to his brain. This leads to Craig going on a murderous rampage.

Sheriff Pailey (O’Hoski) and Deputy Johnson (Conover) lead the hunt for Craig. However, the bodies soon start piling up and they learn how deadly what they are hunting is.

Verdict on Mind Leech

Mind Leech is a creature feature horror movie in a similar vein to ‘Slither’. It follows a small town coming under attack by a mind-controlling leech and follows a deputy that must stop it before it becomes too out of control.

This fits the low-budget horror movie, creating a creature feature that keeps everything contained. It uses the limited blood splatter to give us effective kills as well as using the environment to keep things slowly spreading. This is a fun little indie horror, it gets everything it needs to right, putting it on the path to a potential cult following.

Final Thoughts Mind Leech is a fun little creature feature horror.
