Mike and Dave two party loving brothers are ordered by their parents and sister to find nice girls as dates for her wedding (so they don’t ruin it).

We get a little bit of background on the brothers that they have a history of spoiling family events by taking everything too far in terms of partying and wanting to make it extra special. That has often ended up with plenty of things going wrong. They are not happy when confronted about this and told it is not going to happen again at Jeanie’s wedding. They decide to play an advert online for two girls to attend the wedding with them in Hawaii an all expenses paid trip!

When Alice and Tatiana see then on TV talking about it, this becomes their mission to get a free vacation. Yes, really this is the full storyline of the film, which really makes me doubt the current comedy genre. I am not really sure what exactly made me decide to see this film but I am hoping not as many people make the same mistake that I did. I must have learnt absolutely nothing about Zac Efron’s latest ventures, I must have wanted to totally torture myself instead.

I am also let down by Anna Kendrick heading in this direction as well, I really did think she was better than this type of film! It is a comedy film which failed to make me laugh at all, it attempts to place the audience in those awkward moments to make them feel extremely uncomfortable and then draw out laughs from those moments that does not work at all for me.

I guess it doesn’t help either when I am not a big fan of Adam Devine, really did not enjoy him in Pitch Perfect and that seems to also transpire to other films as well. I just do not find anything about him funny, more reaches the annoying parts which I guess should have been more than enough to put me off seeing this film.

I cannot think of anything positive to say in all honesty, but if a few messed up things involving a sauna room, massage room and quad bikes would be your thing then by all means go and check this film out at the cinema. But if like myself you are not the biggest “comedy” fan then you need to avoid this film like I should have done!
