Midcentury Mecca: A Look Modern Homes in Los Angeles

Architect Cory Buckner has been working to restore many of the midcentury masterpieces that predominate Los Angeles' Crestwood Hills neighborhood, a postwar community that was largely designed by A. Quincy Jones. One of these refurbishing projects was her own house, which was erected not long after the neighborhood's emergence. Built by Jones, it features outward sloping glass walls and asymmetrically corresponding structural supports inside.
