Verdict on Midas
Midas is an action thriller following a college dropout who takes a job at the insurance company that refused his mother’s care. He decides to work with his friends to change that and work from inside the company to expose their secrets.
This movie shows the desperate lengths someone will go to get insurance coverage in America. It shows the corruption in the system and how people are suffering because of the actions of others. This has elements of humor while tackling a serious subject. It uses the subject matter well and feels like a movie that should have a lot more eyes on it. The performances are strong and bring the characters to life.
Final Thoughts –Midas is a smart, clever battle against insurance corruption.
