Mary’s Center provides health care, family literacy and social services to individuals whose needs too often go unmet by the public and private systems. The groundbreaking ceremony is today at 3pm in Adelphi, MD.

Owner Cheryl Harrington will open her Shortcake Cafe and Bakery this month. Located at the former space of Rhode Island Reds Pizza, the Cafe and Bakery will offer specialty breads, baked goods, cakes, and Reds pizza.
