In today’s era, most of us use online file storage. In this, we can store all kinds of documents, but the problem arises when we have to search the required file during the online meeting. Now with this problem in mind Microsoft Teams Has announced the launch of a new file app for users. With the introduction of this new app, users will be able to easily find important documents and spreadsheets.

A report by Techradar states that Microsoft says that the new Files app is being rolled out. Now users will not have to go through different folders or online file storage to find the required documents before starting the video conferencing. They will get all the necessary files in one place.

App is available for these users

The report further states that Teams’ new Microsoft Teams The Files app is currently available for desktop users. It is being speculated that in the coming days this application will be rolled out for other devices.

The company believes that this app is a part of a series of updates for Microsoft Teams. Its main objective is to simplify the platform so that more and more users can use it.

Snapchat Lenses added to the platform last month

For your information, let us tell you that tech company Microsoft joined hands with Snapchat last month. Under this partnership, Snapchat lenses were added to Microsoft Teams, which users can use during video calling. Users will see things like cat on the head, teddy on the shoulder and glasses on the face when the lens is activated.

The company said that users will not need to download a separate app to use Snapchat Lenses. They’ll find these lenses in the Video Effects tab of Teams. Earlier, the company had added an option named Mark as important on the platform.

Through this facility, users can mark their messages as important or urgent during online meetings. After this the message will automatically keep notifying every two minutes.

Apart from this, users will also be able to send links, pictures and files along with the messages. Not only this, Microsoft had added many useful features like whiteboard and chat bubble on Teams earlier this year. Also, the share menu was also redesigned.
