The Surface Neo is a dual-screen tablet-sized device. The two 9-inch displays are hinged together - they are not foldable in the truest sense of the word. It runs Windows 10X operating system, which is specially optimized for dual-screen devices.

Pricing details for the Surface Neo are not available yet. The device is itself expected to be available in the holiday season next year.

Surface Duo

The Surface Duo can be considered as Microsoft's return to the smartphone market ever since Windows Phone went out of existence. The two 5.6-inch displays are connected via a 360-degree hinge, much like the Surface Neo. It runs on Android (this was rather imminent).

Pricing details for the Surface Duo are not available as well. The device is itself expected to be available in the holiday season next year, along with the Neo.

Microsoft Surface Earbuds

The Surface Earbuds are Redmond's answer to Cupertino's AirPods. The truly wireless buds are equally capable of playing music as well as making calls.

With a promised battery life of up to 24 hours, the Surface Earbuds priced at $249. They will be available later this year.

It is great to see the tech giant finally taking its hardware business seriously. After all, competition is healthy for the end consumer.
