Microsoft has announced the latest edition to the Surface family, Surface 3. It is available for pre-order now and drops in store on 5 May 2015. The Surface 3 is the best of a tablet but with the functionality of a laptop. It is also the first device that will feature the new quad-core Intel Atom x7 processor. Other features include a beautiful 10.8 inch full HD display, a 10 hour long battery life, stellar sound, front and rear-facing 1080p cameras, pen functionality and an integrated kickstand. It comes pre-loaded with Windows 8.1 that can be upgraded for free to Windows 10 at release. It also comes with a one year subscription to Office 365 personal. Choices include a 64 GB or 126 GB module with a 4G LTE edition that will come later this year.
