Michel’le won the hearts and minds of many when she allowed her life story to be told in her biopic “Surviving Compton” in 2016.
And now, the “Something In My Heart” singer will tell the next chapter in her life’s story in “Still Standing,” a documentary that’s airing on Lifetime this weekend.
“It just kind of followed me on what happened after the movie,” Michel’le told BOSSIP. “It’s a little documentary on what’s been going on in the last year.”
Michel’le, who infamously survived abusive relationships with Dr. Dre and Suge Knight, said she hopes her story will encourage others in similar situations to leave.
“If you’re in it, get a plan, and get out of it,” she said. “You can survive from that and start over.”
