Remember Renee from True Blood Season 1 played by Michael Raymond-James? He turned out to be the serial killer that everyone was searching for all throughout the season. Many were sorry to see him go, but we are happy to report that he’s been busy since his time on True Blood and now he has joined the pilot of a new NBC drama, Midnight Sun.
The project – based on Israeli series Pillars of Smoke – will follow an FBI investigation into the disappearance of a cult.
Raymond-James will play an Alaskan lawman who joins the search, according to Deadline.
In addition to True Blood, his recent credits include short-lived FX series Terriers and a guest role on AMC’s The Walking Dead.
