Michael McMillian Writes and Produces New Short Film ‘Glock’Michael McMillian is expected to be seen again in True Blood Season 5 in his fan loved role as Reverend Steve Newlin, but he’s been busy doing other projects as well.

Not only is he now helping to write the ongoing True Blood Comic Book series, as we reported yesterday, but he has just announced the new short film he wrote and produced with Tom E. Scott, called “Glock.”

We first saw news of this on Michael’s Twitter:

Michael McMillian @McMillzz - GLOCK written and produced by me and @TomEScott, who also directed! #Glock

Below is the entire short film that includes many stars that we’re sure you will recognize. In the film is Tom Everett Scott, Ciarán Hinds, Stephen Root (Eddie on True Blood and soon to be in HBO’s Boardwalk Empire), Michael McMillian, Krysten Ritter and Rhys Coiro.

Glock centers on a promising new spy who is given a cell phone by his agency and told to wait for his first mission. However, the phone never rings, and our hero slowly descends into a downward spiral of heartbreak and frustration.

This is so Michael’s kind of humor, I loved it and I’m sure you will, too.
