I’m over at La Dolce Vita today with a new “Design Under the Influence” where I’m celebrating the man behind the original Fontainebleu, The Americana and Eden Roc in Miami Beach: Morris Lapidus.
He once said of his intentions when guests walked into his hotels that he ”wanted people to walk in and drop dead.” Now that’s a design statement!
