Mi Max Launched in China

After numerous leaks and speculations leading Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi announced its first ever phablet Mi Max today in China, The latest smartphone comes with the largest-ever screen in its lineup to date.Mi Max Colors
As we had earlier reported, Max, sports a metallic unibody design and flaunts a large 6.44-inch 1080p display. It is a very thin device and will measure just 7.5mm in thickness (full measurements: 173.1 × 88.3 × 7.5 mm) and will weigh 203 grams. It will come in three different variants based on its processor, RAM and inbuilt memory. Mi Max black variant The base model comes with a Snapdragon 650 processor along with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. It is priced at 1499 Yuan ( $230). Second Variant of Xiaomi Max is powered by Snapdragon 652 along with 3GB RAM but internal storage is upgraded to 64GB and is priced at 1699 Yuan ($260).  The High-end versionMi Max of Xiaomi Max is powered by a Snapdragon 652 chipset along with 4GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. It is priced at 1999 Yuan ($307). All the three variants come with a fingerprint scanner at the back and a 16MP rear camera with PDAF in addition to a 5MP front camera with 85-degree wide angle lens. Max is powered by a 4850 mAh battery which should be ideal for a day long usage. Other features include Wi-Fi,VoLTE and dual SIM dual standby and memory on the device can be extended with the help of MicroSD which can be used through a hybrid sim slot. The phone will go on sale on May 17 and the company is reportedly preparing a stock of more than 100,000 units for the sale day. There is no word on its release in India as yet however we will keep you updated once we get the details.
