Meta, the company that owns Facebook, has started a new ad campaign that focuses on cyclists and promotes the company’s move toward more immersive experiences.
This is the second ad that Meta has put out that talks directly about the group’s search for the metaverse, which the group says has the power to break down boundaries all over the world.
In “Amani,” a documentary, the lives of a group of young African cyclists who all want to ride in the Tour de France are shown. Throughout the documentary, each of the athletes uses different kinds of technology to make their experience better and to connect with each other.
Aus Taylor and Marleauex Desiré of Illimité World, along with Daniel Wolfe, who made Meta’s film “Skate Ghana Nation,” which won a lot of praise and was nominated for an Emmy, directed the movie.
