@Deutsches Museum, Munich, Germany
December 2014
The Deutsches Museum in Munich is one of the great technology museums of the world, and I was fortunate to visit the facility during a recent vacation. Several of the Wonder-Weapons developed near the end of the war are on display, including this Me-262A. Luftwaffe pilot Hans Guido Mutke landed this aircraft in Switzerland after a mission where the plane was impounded. Swiss authorities never attempted to fly the plane, keeping it in storage and returning it to Germany in 1957. Nikon D7000 w/18-200mm, processed with Photomatix Pro and Aperture.
